Store Supply Warehouse Company History

Store Supply Warehouse, Inc. was founded in 1994 by Mr. Harry Leschen and Mr. Robert Balk as a wholesaler of store fixtures and supplies to small, independent retailers. The company has been engaged in the business of selling retail store supplies and fixtures continuously since its founding, and it has had no other lines of business. In May of 2005, Store Supply Warehouse was purchased by Matt Wohlstadter, then its General Manager, and Sage Capital, LLC.

Store Supply Warehouse's retail use products are marketed primarily through an 80-page catalog updated and distributed three times a year – in the spring, summer and fall. Store Supply Warehouse also maintains this website with a full listing of all retail supplies and products including prices. Customers purchase products primarily via telephone orders placed through an 800 number to the company’s call center however customers can also place orders through the website.

The driving concept behind the retail superstore's business is “Making it easy to buy.  Do not place any barriers between us and the customer.”  To execute the concept we take the following steps:

1. Competitive Prices.
2. All customer calls answered by a “live” person.  There are NO automated answering machines.
3. There is no minimum order.
4. All orders shipped the same day when received by:
   • 3:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time for the Harrisburg, PA facility
   • 3:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time for the Savannah, GA facility
   • 3:00 P.M. Central Standard Time for the St. Louis, MO facility
   • 3:00 P.M. Central Standard Time for the Shreveport, LA facility
   • 3:00 P.M. Pacific Standard Time for the Reno, NV facility
   • Liberal return policy (customer pays freight).
5. Returns processed the same day. Credits issued immediately to minimize customer callbacks that interfere with order processing and increase customer satisfaction.
